QIC Insured introduces new and simpler way of reporting motor claims with WhatsApp

QIC Insured, the retail arm of QIC, Qatar’s leading insurer yesterday announced the launch of a new service – reporting motor claims directly through the call center or via WhatsApp

Now QIC Insured policyholders only need to call 8000 742 or send a WhatsApp message to 50000742 to file a motor claim after an accident. The business hours for QIC Insured’s call center and WhatsApp service are from 7am till 10pm, Saturday till Thursday.

Registering the claim is done in a few easy steps; Report the accident to the traffic department and get the police report and with the report call 8000 742 or simply send a WhatsApp message to 50000742 to register the motor claim

All that’s left then is to drop the car at the assigned workshop for repair

To make it even simpler, QIC Insured can even arrange for the necessary police reports – customers only need to provide the police report reference number and the rest is handled by QIC Insured’s customer service.

Speaking at the launch of this new service Fahad Mohamed Al Suwaidi, Senior Claims Manager (Motor) stated, “At QIC we’re continuously striving to find innovative ways to serve our customers in a better way to make things easy and convenient. The new service offers customers the ease of filing motor claims directly without having to deal with unnecessary delays caused by navigating heavy traffic to go a branch or waiting in a line to file a claim.”

He further added, “With the launch of this new service, QIC has once again established its distinctive role and presence in the marketplace and we’re hopeful that our customers’ journey through the claims process remains hassle free.”
