Oman Qatar Insurance Company, (OQIC), a premier insurer and subsidiary of Qatar Insurance Group has opened a new branch at Al Amerat in Oman.

The new full-service one stop branch is well equipped to offer a full range of personal insurance products (car insurance, home insurance, and travel insurance) to existing and prospective new customers residing in the Al Amerat area of Oman.

In addition, the new branch aims to enhance OQIC’s service levels in the areas of motor claims surveys, claims processing and claims settlement.

The branch was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Yahya bin Suleiman Al Nadabi -Wali of Al Amerat in the presence of Mr. Jumah Bin Khalid Bujassoum – Second Secretary of Qatar Embassy, Mr. Salem Al-Mannai – Deputy Group CEO MENA region of QIC, Mr. Navin Kumar – CEO of OQIC and senior OQIC staff.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Salem Al Mannai stated, “The opening of the sixth branch matches with our objective of moving closer to our customers especially in the strategic area of Al Amerat. It also serves as proof of the strong customer confidence and support that OQIC enjoys in the Sultanate.”

He added, “Bringing convenience to customers has always been a priority for us. Going forward, we will continue to revolutionize our product offerings and services while bearing in mind the unique priorities of our customers. It has indeed been a remarkable journey so far and I’m confident that with the support and encouragement of our customers, we will be successful in maintaining a long and successful relationship with them.”
